INTRODUCING traditional music TO A YOUNGer GENERATION
At just 14 years of age, Cash Staub describes himself as a “traditionalist” in Bluegrass and Country music - and started performing at age 10.
Cash's determination is all his own. His goal is to show a young generation how cool traditional style Bluegrass and Old Country music is, while creating new content that honors his heroes.
Cash recorded his first full project, CASH ON THE BARRELHEAD at age 11. In May of 2019 at age 13 Cash honored one of his heroes, Del McCoury with a tribute project ALL ABOARD and single "All Aboard" - now available on all streaming and download platforms as well as CD (see Music Page).
A "YOUNG TRADITIONALIST"
Cash started taking guitar lessons at age 10 and within months was playing in front of The Ark Encounter in his hometown of Willamstown, KY. Shortly after Cash was being asked to guest on radio stations and perform at local festivals.
Cash recorded his first project in 2018 when he was only 11.
With performances already under his belt on Woodsongs Radio Hour (two appearances), The World Famous Station Inn in Nashville, and guest performances with other respected artists in the field he wishes to be a part of, official showcases at SPBGMA and more, Cash commands the stage with the confidence of a seasoned performer, and is right at home with the audience.
From the age of 2, yes, 2, Cash Staub took to traditional music naturally.
Gravitating to artists like Bill Monroe, The Osborne Brothers and Del McCoury, you could say he is an old soul.
“Cash on the Barrelhead” was released in September, 2018, and recorded when Cash was only 11 years old, and is now available on Apple Music, Spotify and all streaming platforms, as well as physical CD.
